FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
1. How can I login on MySamaj mobile app? Download the MySamaj mobile app from Apple or Android store. You must have your username and password and the Samaj code to be able to login. Our samaj code is GSCFL.
2. How can I login on WEB site? If you were a member with GSCFL in the previous year, you can simply generate your temporary password. Click on the “Forgot Password” link, and enter the email address that you had provided to us last year. You will get an email with your temporary password. Login to http://www.gujaratisocietycfl.com/login.aspx using these credentials and review your profile as well as your family members’ profiles. Your email is your username.
3. I am not getting the email with my password even if I click on "Forgot Password" link! It is very likely that the email sent from our website hit the SPAM folder on your email system - check in the spam folder for an email from registration@gujaratisocietycfl.com. The other cause of this could be that the email address you provided at the time of registration could be different.
4. How can I remove a few members from my profile before I renew membership by Credit Card? You must login to the GSCFL site or open the MySamaj app first. Then on the My Account navigate to "Renew Membership" and select the members that you want to renew. Then proceed to pay by Credit Card. Then proceed to payment page and pay online via your PayPal/Credit Card. You will see options to pay using your "PayPal account", or "PayPal Later" or "Debit or Credit Card". Select the last option, provide the correct card details and click on "Pay Now". Make sure that you provide the correct card details, and the correct address associated with your Credit Card. If this is not done correctly, your membership will not get renewed and you will get the error message.
5. How can I renew my membership using the MySamaj mobile app? Login to the MySamaj app, and then click on the "Membership" icon at the bottom of the screen. You will see the list of all members in your profile. Click on your name to see the membership renewal page and press the button "Renew Membership". You will see the list of all members in your profile, and can select the ones for whom you want to renew. Then click on the "Pay" button. This will bring up the PayPal page. If you have PayPal account you can pay with that or of you wish to pay by Credit/Debit card, then click on "Pay with Debit or Credit Card", enter the name/address info accurately and pay the funds. If this is not done correctly, your membership will not get renewed and you will get the error message.
6. I have paid the fees using the MySamaj mobile app but I want to add a member: Login to the MySamaj app, and then click on the "Membership" icon at the bottom of the screen. You will see the list of all members in your profile. Click on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen, and you will see two options: "Payment History" and "Add Member". Select "Add Member", provide the accurate details and click the "Add" button.
7. The MySamaj mobile app is not displaying some pages. What should I do? The mobile apps are dependent on your mobile phone's memory and processing power. Frequently, if you have kept multiple apps open, or have a intensive app running for a long time, it would "freeze up". The options that you have to deal with this are: (a) Kill the app (b) Restart your phone (3) If this does not resolve the issue, uninstall the app and reinstall it.
8. Do children get free membership? Yes, kids up to age 15 get free membership, but they must be registered in our system. To add your child, login to the MySamaj app, and then click on the "Membership" icon at the bottom of the screen. You will see the list of all members in your profile. Click on the three dots at the top right corner of the screen, and you will see two options: "Payment History" and "Add Member". Select "Add Member", provide the accurate details and click the "Add" button.
