GROUP DANCE COMPETITION 2024

Dear Choreographers/Dance School Admins,

On behalf of Gujarati Society of Central Florida/Orlando (“GSCFL”), we are excited to resume our flagship event post Covid, 36th Annual Group Dance Competition. This year, the event will be held on Saturday, December 7nd, 2024 at Olympia High School (4301 S Apopka Vineland Rd, Orlando, FL 32835). We enthusiastically welcome your participation in this year’s Group Dance Competition.

This annual event is a celebration of dance and talent. The competition boasts a diverse range of styles and categories, including Classical, Semi Classical, Fusion, Bollywood Dance, Folk, or any form of Traditional Dance. We welcome dancers of all levels, styles and ages ranging from 5 to 50 years to highlight their skills on stage.

We are thrilled to be working with all of you to make the entries and registrations for Group Dance Competition a smooth process. The registration is now open. Kindly register your groups before the deadline as registration will NOT be accepted after the deadline. Also, please review the participation rules that are attached to this email.

Upload of music file at time of registration is optional, but please ensure that the final version of your music is sent by Sunday, October 29th via email. MP3 format only. No changes will be accepted after the deadline of October 29th.

Special Request: Please communicate any special request, such as lighting, in the space provided on the registration form. We will review your requests and get back to you letting you know if we are and/or not able to accommodate the request.

By submitting this form, I agree with all the rules, terms and regulations of the Gujarati Society of Central Florida and its dance contest. I understand that the judge’s decision will be final. I hereby release and agree to hold Gujarati Society of Central Florida harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, my participant team members and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be sustained caused by any act, or failure to act of Gujarati Society of Central Florida or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with Gujarati Society of Central Florida. I understand that this release discharges Gujarati Society of Central Florida from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, my participant team members, or any personal representatives may have against Gujarati Society of Central Florida with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, my attendance at events organized and sponsored by Gujarati Society of Central Florida. This liability waiver and release extends to Gujarati Society of Central Florida together with all its members, committees, contractors, and employees.
